The Symantec Recovery Disk (SRD) is used to boot
your computer into the recovery environment. If
your computer's operating system fails, use the
SRD to recover your system drive (the drive where
your operating system is installed).
Note: Depending on which version of the product
you have purchased, the SRD is either included
on your product CD, or as a separate CD. You
should place the CD containing the SRD in a safe
place. Should you lose the CD, you can create a
new one if you have have a CD burner.
