The Metered Broadband Mode
option lets you set up policies
and restrict the Internet usage
of Norton AntiVirus. You can
define the amount of network
bandwidth that Norton AntiVirus
can use.
The Network Security Map
option provides a pictorial
representation of the devices on
the network to which your
computer is connected. You can
view the security status of the
devices that are connected to
the network to which your
computer is connected.
Network Security Map also lets
you configure the
communication port that Norton
products use to communicate
with each other.
The Welcome Screen option
displays the Network Security
Overview window when you
open Network Security Map.
The Proxy Server option lets you
specify the automatic
configuration URL, proxy
settings, and the authentication
details for firewall or proxy
server. In case of proxy servers,
Norton AntiVirus uses the
Network Proxy Settings to
connect to the Symantec server
and the Internet.
